Since #erasmusdays were celebrated on on 15, 16 and 17 of October, YAMNFL partners decided to take a part in its celebration. Having in mind all Covid-19-caused restrictions, we couldn’t do as much as we initially planned. Our small contribution was based on YAMNFL Promotional events.

Društvo za razvijanje prostovoljnega dela Novo mesto (DRPDNM) implemented two activities – conferences where the coordinator of the project spoke about the project, its purpose and goals. Also, together with the youngsters, we discussed about the importance of non-formal education, what non-formal education is, where to turn to if someone has any wishes to gain non-formal education. We also spoke about the possibilities of employment that youngsters can get if they participate in non-formal education, what skills and competences they can develop and how they can prove them. Among other, we talked about Erasmus+  and European Solidarity Corps as means of non-formal education and what kind of competences, skills, experiences can someone that participates in Erasmus+ or ESC and what are the possibilities for someone to get a job after improving competences and presenting them in their Youthpass(es) and Europass.

Event in Bosnia and Herzegovina

On October 15 and 16 2020, LDA Mostar organized “NFL TALKS” events in American Corner Mostar and Youth Club “POK Mostar”. These events were conceived as casual gatherings where LDA Mostar presented its Project Youth Ambassadors of Non Formal Learning. Also we used this opportunity to learn about Erasmus experiences within our local youth community. We heard a lot of stories and personal experiences regarding youth exchange, mobility and how NFL impacted on our interlocutors. Network and links that we made will certainly help us in creating our next project activities.
