First international activity of the Youth Ambassadors of Non-Formal Learning (YAMNFL) project was Kick off meeting of partners that was hosted by Center for Intercultural Dialogue from Kumanovo, North Macedonia. 16 representatives from 11 partner organizations were present at the meeting. The aim of the meeting was to share a better idea of the project, divide tasks, provide management models and get inspired on the actual situation of Non Formal Learning recognition and validation in Europe to have a common ground to work together.

It started with a welcoming dinner on the 15th of January where the participants got a chance to meet and exchange ideas and expectations from the project. On the 16th of January the meeting started in the morning with welcoming words from the hosts Center for intercultural dialogue and the project coordinator – LDA Mostar. The project partners had a chance to officially introduce themselves, their scope of work and their organizations. The meeting continued with a workshop held by an external expert Marija Popovic. It aimed to introduce to the participants the general overview of non-formal learning, EU and WB countries statistics as well as examples of best practices. After the workshop the project coordinator LDA Mostar presented the project activities, project dynamic as well as budget and financial dynamic and reporting. The 17th of January was left for discussion, questions and conclusions from the meeting.

Youth Ambassadors of Non Formal Learning is project that aims at promoting participation in Non Formal Education activities and the power of validation and recognition of competences acquired outside the formal education environment through an innovative methodology.
